Terms of Service

This is an English translation of DDirong's Terms of Service, provided for reference only. If there is any conflict or discrepancy between this translation and the Korean original, the Korean version shall prevail.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service set out the conditions and procedures for using DDirong, and the rights and obligations of users and the operator. The Service is a personal web service for recording to-dos and memos, operated by an individual on a non-profit basis.
2. Effect and Amendment of These Terms
These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Service. The operator may amend these Terms when necessary, and an amended version applies from the time it is posted on this page. A change unfavorable to users is announced at least 7 days before it takes effect. If a user does not agree to an amended version of these Terms, the user may stop using the Service and request deletion of their account.
3. Account
An account can only be created through Google sign-in. Users are responsible for the security of their own Google account and must notify the operator immediately upon becoming aware that their account has been compromised.
Users under the age of 14 may not use the Service. Under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, processing the personal information of a child under the age of 14 requires the consent of a legal representative, but the Service does not have a process to verify such consent.
4. User Content
Users retain the rights to the content they input. The operator processes such content only to the extent necessary to store, display, and back up the Service, and does not access or use it for any other purpose.
5. Prohibited Acts
- Unauthorized access to, interference with, or excessive automated requests against the Service or its servers
- Storing or distributing content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law
- Impersonating another user's account or exploiting a vulnerability in the Service
If the operator confirms that any of the above acts has occurred, the operator may restrict use of, or delete, the relevant account without prior notice.
6. Changes to and Discontinuation of the Service
The operator may change the content of the Service or discontinue providing it. If the operator discontinues the entire Service, this will be posted on this page at least 30 days in advance so that users can move their data. Where the Service is temporarily suspended for an unavoidable reason such as maintenance, a failure, or a natural disaster, prior notice may not be possible.
7. Termination of the Agreement
Users may terminate this Agreement at any time by requesting deletion of their account at [email protected]. Upon receiving such a request, the operator deletes the account and the content the user has input without delay. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as is, and the operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the permanent preservation of data. Users are advised to back up important content separately.
The operator is not liable for damage arising from a cause beyond its control, such as a natural disaster, power outage, or a failure of a hosting provider. This does not apply to damage caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising from use of the Service may be brought before a court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
